The Unofficial World Championship starts from the first game between England and Scotland in 1873, while Nassazi's Baton starts 57 years later with the first World Cup - Nassazi was the captain of the Uruguay team who were the first world champions.

It creates some interesting little factoids with sides like the Netherlands Antilles holding the world title for a few days in the 1960s after beating Mexico, then losing the title to Costa Rica.
