Castle Ward

I currently represent Castle Ward on Colchester Borough Council. Castle is in the centre of Colchester, and includes the Town Centre, Castle Park, Riverside, the Dutch Quarter, St Mary’s and Cowdray Avenue.

I previously represented Castle Ward from 2007 to 2015, before standing down for a break, and then was re-elected in 2016. Full details of that election result can be found here. As I came top of the ballot which elected three councillors, I’m serving a four year term and will be up for re-election in 2020.

If you’re not sure which ward in Colchester you live in, then the Ordnance Survey’s Election Maps site can help you find out. Just select ‘local authority’, search for ‘Colchester’ and that will take you to a map of the whole Borough where you can find which ward you’re in.

You can find details of some of what I’ve been doing by looking at the entries on this site in the ‘Council’ or ‘Colchester’ categories.

Remember that your Councillors are here to help you, so if you’ve got any problems, comments or issues you want dealt with, then please leave a comment or email me. (I’ll post my new council email address here as soon as I have it.) You can also keep up with my councillor account on Twitter, or my Facebook page.

  1. I have some photo’s for you to take a look at. Could you please give me your response to these. As nobody in the council seams to be bothered about anything these days. Regards Nick ,residing along Cowdray Avenue.
